| He is a member of a select medic team that trains with the Seattle Seahawks and the University of Washington Huskies football team. These medics work the sidelines, in conjunction with the doctors and trainers, to treat any major injury to players, coaches and officials. |
| Paul gives back to his community as a 7-year volunteer coach in the Kent School District. |
| In both his career as a paramedic and as a coach, Paul has seen an increase in outbreaks of staph infections and MRSA in athletes at all levels. |
| Out of concern for athletes, young and pro, he set out to find a way to help prevent these outbreaks. |
